‘Quantico’ creator Josh Safran gets top dollar for home in Hancock Park

Share

It looks like television producer Josh Safran saw lots of interest for his Hancock Park home. The English country-inspired house closed sale in a little more than month for $3.398 million. That’s more than $100,000 above the “Quantico” creator’s asking price.

Built in the late 1920s, the turreted home has leaded glass windows, unusual ogee arches and vaulted ceilings with stenciled beams. A formal living room features a wall of bookshelves, a fireplace and French doors that open to a courtyard.

A formal dining room, a den with a fireplace, a media room, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms are within the 4,200 square of interiors. The kitchen has been updated with a farmhouse sink, subway tile and stone countertops.

Outdoors, hedged grounds contain lawns, a built-in barbecue and a swimming pool. A two-story pool house with pocket doors and a sleeping loft sits adjacent to the pool.

Safran bought the house six years ago for $2.75 million, records show.

Besides the drama “Quantico,” the writer and producer’s credits include “Smash” and “Gossip Girl.”

Jeff Yarborough of Keller Williams Beverly Hills was the listing agent. Anne Loveland of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage represented the buyer.
