Actor Roger Cross of the television series “Dark Matter” has sold a house in Hollywood Hills West for $1.7 million.

The Mediterranean-style home, in the Nichols Canyon area, dates to 1958 but has been renovated. The homey kitchen has stone tile floors, stainless-steel appliances and custom countertops.

Interior arches, skylights and dark hardwood floors carry throughout most of the 2,638 square feet of interior space. Windows look out on gardens.

There are living, dining and family rooms, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The upstairs master suite has a balcony and canyon views.

The backyard features a gated solar-heated swimming pool with a spa and a barbecue area next to a lawn. The two-car garage has a tiled floor.
