Stephen Luczo, executive chairman of Seagate Technology, has put a $17.5-million price tag on his French traditional spread in Atherton.
It'll be a nice return for Luczo if he gets his price. Records show he bought the home in 2015 for $15 million.
In addition to the 11,491-square-foot mansion, the resort-like grounds feature a swimming pool and spa, a pool house and a limestone terrace. Multiple pavilions are spread across the one-acre property.
Four columns frame the home's double-door entry. Inside, oversized living spaces sport neutral tones and wood finishes.
Custom windows brighten the rooms, and French doors lead to a covered patio with a fireplace that opens to the spacious backyard. Two balconies take in the scene from above.
The mansion's three stories also pack in a wine cellar, theater room, gym, five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. A pair of garages provides parking for four.
Mary and Brent Gullixson of Alain Pinel Realtors are the listing agents.
Luczo, 60, joined Seagate in 1993 as senior vice president of corporate development. He spent two stretches as the company's CEO before accepting his position as executive chairman last year.
In addition, he's served on the boards of both the Microsoft Corporation and the New York Stock Exchange.
