Zsa Zsa Gabor's longtime Bel-Air estate is listed for sale at $15 million.

The French Regency-style mansion sits on a 1-acre gated promontory with views of downtown Los Angeles, Santa Catalina Island and the ocean.

The 28-room home, built in 1955, features a formal sitting room with an antique French fireplace, an oversized dining room with city views, a butler's pantry off the kitchen and staff quarters. There are four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a half-bath in the house's 6,393 square feet. Former residents include Howard Hughes and Elvis Presley.

The actress, 94, has been in and out of the hospital since undergoing hip surgery last year. Her scores of TV and film appearances include a starring role in "Moulin Rouge" (1952) and guest appearances on "The Hollywood Squares" in the 1960s and '70s and "The New Hollywood Squares" in the '80s.

She bought the house in 1973 for $280,000. Her husband, Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, announced in January that he wanted to sell the house for $28 million. He said he would like to downsize and move them to a modern building with security.

Christophe Choo of Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills, is the listing agent.
