Actor Frankie Muniz has put his Hollywood Hills-area house on the market for $3,195,000.

The gated home, built in 1941, has been remodeled with an open floor plan. The kitchen, dining room, living room, family room and two bedrooms occupy the lower level. Upstairs is the master bedroom suite with a sitting area, a fireplace and dual closets. There are two additional bedrooms on the upper level of the 4,200-square-foot home, which has four bathrooms.

Muniz, 25, was nominated for an Emmy for his work in the title role of “Malcolm in the Middle,” (2000-2006). He now divides his time between acting, racecar driving and drumming for the pop/rock band You Hang Up out of Phoenix.

He bought the house in 2006 for $3,499,000 and has been leasing it out in recent years.

Justin Mandile and Mary Swanson of Sotheby’s International Realty, Beverly Hills, are the listing agents.
