There are actors who, after playing the same character for so long, simply become that character in the public’s mind. After 190 episodes of being “ER’s” Abby Lockhart -- first nurse, then doctor -- actress Maura Tierney is putting down her stethoscope and picking up her moving boxes: She has listed her Hancock Park-area home for sale at $2,195,000.

Her 3,051-square-foot Craftsman home has been restored while maintaining period details. There is a two-story guesthouse, pool and spa. The chef’s kitchen has stainless-steel appliances and custom cabinetry. The dining room has vintage period built-ins. There is a balcony off the master bedroom suite, and the living room has a fireplace and French doors that open onto a wooden deck. There is a brick patio area with an outdoor fireplace.

The home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and was built in 1913.

Tierney, 44, has spent the last decade on “ER,” which is in its final season. She played Caroline in “Baby Mama” in 2008 and also had roles in “Finding Amanda” (2008), “Semi-Pro” (2008) and “Liar Liar” (1997),. She played Lisa Miller for 97 episodes of “NewsRadio” from 1995 to 1999.
