The Dallas Cowboys football team has welcomed a new addition to its home at AT&T Stadium. "Sky Mirror," a large-scale reflective sculpture by the British artist Anish Kapoor, was recently unveiled at the Cowboys' stadium as part of a contemporary-art initiative by the team's owners, Gene and Jerry Jones.
"Sky Mirror," which is located at the east plaza of AT&T Stadium, is a version of Kapoor's concept that has been seen in Nottingham, England; the Hermitage Museum in Russia;
The artwork is made of stainless steel and weighs 23 tons. The sculpture is part of the Dallas Cowboys Art Collection at AT&T Stadium, which consists of 56 works, including 16 commissions, by 40 established and emerging artists.
