Lady Gaga has revealed an eye-catching cover for her coming "Artpop" album designed by visual artist Jeff Koons.

The cover shows a life-like sculpture of a nude Gaga spliced with images of Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus." Between her splayed legs rests a metallic, blue ball, a nod to Koons' stainless-steel balloon animals.

"I'm nervous&excited to share something that's such a piece of my heart," Gaga tweeted before
releasing the album art. "Something I cherish deeply. A real depiction of my mind through his."

Fans will soon have the chance to see Koons' sculpture in the flesh: The piece will be on display at a release party Nov. 10, the day before "Artpop" will drop, Gaga tweeted. She didn't give location for the event.

Koons has become a muse for pop stars of late.

Gaga gave the sculptor a shout-out in her recently released chart-topper "Applause," and Jay-Z dropped his name in "Picasso Baby."

Last November, Koons' "Tulips" sold at Christie's for more than $33 million, setting an auction record for a living artist.
