Warwick Davis made a special appearance as the host of the conference. The diminutive actor joked that the city that bid the most for the reunion was Qatar.
Monty Python last reunited in 1998 at a performance at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colo. Details of the July 1 performance in London remain somewhat sketchy, but the group said on Thursday that the performance will feature a combination of new and existing material.
An official website for the performance has also been created. The site comes with the tagline "One Down, Five to Go."
