“Fun Home,” written by playwright Lisa Kron and composer Jeanine Tesori, is based on Alison Bechdel’s graphic memoir about coming of age as a lesbian in a home with a closeted gay funeral director father, whose death appears to have been a suicide. The musical received 12 Tony nominations.
