The festival will also pay homage to filmmaker Patrice Chéreau, who died last year, with a screening of the new digitally restored director's cut of his acclaimed 1994 film "Queen Margot."

City of Lights, City of Angels will also premiere restorations of three classic French films: Jean Cocteau's 1946 "Beauty and the Beast," with Jean Marais and Josette Day; René Clément's "Purple Noon" (1960) with Alain Delon and Maurice Ronet; and Otar Iosseliani's 1984 film "Favourites of the Moon," with Mathieu Amalric.
