Tran, who's been in and out of Brown's life for years, has on occasion accompanied the singer to court, including to a Feb. 3 probation hearing during which -- despite Breezy's October arrest in
Brown's legal fate -- and his freedom situation -- changed March 17 after he was booted from rehab (again). Then it was directly to jail, do not pass go, pending an April 23 hearing to decide whether a Washington, D.C., arrest on suspicion of assault constitutes a violation of his parole in the 2009 Rihanna beating.
One complication: He's due in D.C. on April 17 for a trial in that misdemeanor assault case, and there's debate over whether he'll be cuffed and shipped via law-enforcement transport or cut loose from jail so he can take a regular flight back East.
