Idris Elba will be a new father soon! The British actor is expecting a baby with makeup artist girlfriend Naiyana Garth, according to US Weekly.

The 41-year-old actor has been getting serious with Garth as of late. He recently invited her on his arm to the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year awards in London. That’s where photographers got a glimpse of Garth’s growing baby bump.

The baby will be Elba’s second child. He has an 11-year-old daughter named Isan, who lives with his ex-wife Dormowa Sherma in Atlanta. He doesn’t have the chance to see her often, and when he does, they meet in hotel rooms or temporary spaces, he said. “I’m like a gypsy, man,” he told GQ magazine in its October issue. “We’ve had this relationship since she was 1. She’s always on the road.”

As for his acting credentials -- they’re big. Elba paved his way to fame as a drug honcho in HBO’s much-buzzed program “The Wire,” and as a murder detective in BBC America’s crime drama “Luther.” Elba also played a guest role in the NBC comedy “The Office.”

On the big screen, Elba has starred in action adventure films “Pacific Rim” and “Thor: The Dark World.” Later this month, Elba will appear in the historic biopic “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” as revolutionary South American leader Nelson Mandela.

All that aside, now the topic turns to the man’s looks (finally!), sprinkled with his latest film, “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,” of course. The film was one President Obama was interested in seeing, so he invited Elba and director of the film Justin Chadwick to a screening at the White House.

Elba recalled the moment, saying. “[Obama] told everyone in the screening room...’Idris Elba couldn’t sit down because all the ladies, all the ladies were all over him. Give him a break today, ladies. Give him a break.’”

“Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” hits theaters Nov. 29.
