The onesie tells all! Josh Duhamel has revealed that he and his wife, Fergie, are expecting a baby boy.
The "Scenic Route" star, appearing on "Live! With Kelly and Michael," spilled the beans in a short segment that will air Wednesday. In the brief teaser, hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan have coaxed the actor into a game of "Du or Don't Part II: Baby Edition" and ask him to choose between two onesies: pink or blue.
The couple, who announced the pregnancy last February, had yet to share their child's gender with the public. After working up the studio audience on "Live!" Duhamel snatched the "Kelly & Michael"-branded blue onesie from Ripa's left hand and proudly held it up for the cameras.
So ... it's a boy! The babylicious little guy is said to be due in late August or early September.
Pop star Fergie, 38, whose real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, officially changed her last name to Duhamel on July 10, People reported. The couple have been married since 2009 and wanted to ensure that their family would share one surname, the site said.
"Right now, we're just fascinated by the whole idea there's a baby growing inside of her," Duhamel told The Times last March. "We're fascinated by every stage of its development at this point. We're already feeling a real connection to it. This is what I was meant to do, and we're both really, really excited about the whole thing.
And the dad-to-be is already growing very attached to his expanding family.
"I can't imagine having a kid and then not being able to be there — that would just drive me crazy. My head would be at home with Mom and baby," Duhamel recently told ET Canada. "We want to work it out so that we can be together; whether I am working, they can come with [me] or if she is working I can go with them. I can't see myself ever wanting to be away from my wife and kid."
