Liam Hemsworth doesn't seem all that torn up about his recent breakup with twerking sensation Miley Cyrus.
Well, that's a relief...
Instead, the hunky "Hunger Games" star made it seem that things were quite amicable between himself and his former fiancée while he was promoting "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" with costar Woody Harrelson in one of the first interviews in which he addressed the split.
"I'm extremely happy for all of her success," Hemsworth told Extra when asked where things stood with the "Wrecking Ball" singer.
The former couple met on the set of "The Last Song" in 2009 and got engaged in 2012. But they called it quits in September soon after Cyrus received a rash of press following her controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance in August and upon news that Hemsworth had been spotted kissing model Eiza González.
However, that relationship appears to be over.
"I don't have a lady at the moment," the 23-year-old Aussie actor said just as Harrelson hijacked the interview to save his costar. (Harrelson also said that "the perfect woman for Liam" is Oprah Winfrey, to which Hemsworth replied, "she's a wonderful woman" and he'd consider "all possibilities.")
Cyrus, appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in October to promote her latest album, "Bangerz," said she wasn't really seeing anyone at the moment either because things had "been like so crazy busy."
"I'm just letting that chapter kind of close and just looking forward to that new one," the 20-year-old said. "I want to be really clear and determined with everything I'm doing in my life right now, and I have been. ...
"I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been, and that's not even a dig. That's just me because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are. I've never been able to just be alone, and I'm obsessed with being alone and like hearing my thoughts."
Well, Miley, we're hearing his thoughts loud and clear now too.
