Jordan Peele of the recent Emmy-winning comedy sketch series “Key & Peele” has just released the first trailer for the horror movie that he wrote and directed titled “Get Out.” And it’s creepy as all hell.

One-half of the comedy duo that includes comedian Keegan-Michael Key, it was a little surprising when Peele announced that his next project would be a horror movie. But if the movie is anything like what the “Get Out” trailer is channeling, scare aficionados are in for a real freak-out.

“Get Out” stars Daniel Kaluuya (“Sicario), who plays the classic boyfriend character on his first trip to meet the parents of his girlfriend played by Allison Williams (“Girls”). Catherine Keener (“The 40-Year-Old Virgin”) and Bradley Whitford (“West Wing”) have been cast as the suburban-looking folks. The premise for the feature is a simple, “A young African American man visits his Caucasian girlfriend’s cursed family estate,” but as you can see from the trailer there’s so much more going on inside this “cursed family estate.”

Something horrible seems to be happening to all the people of color in this isolated town, and Kaluuya appears to be next.

“Get Out” has a release date for February 2017.
