Kaley Cuoco engaged to Ryan Sweeting — after dating only 3 months

Kaley Cuoco knows how to seize an opportunity: “The Big Bang Theory” actress and tennis-player beau Ryan Sweeting are engaged!

Seems like only yesterday she was debuting him on the red carpet. Oh, wait, it was only this past weekend, wasn’t it?

Cuoco’s rep confirmed the engagement to Us Weekly on Thursday, and quoted a source close to the star as saying, “When you know, you know.” That of course being a reference to the fact that the two have been dating for only three months or so.

Sweeting popped the question Wednesday, according to the mag, though Sports Now says the engagement was rumored during tennis’ U.S. Open earlier this month. Turns out Cuoco played junior tennis before giving that up to pursue acting.

Things have been looking pretty sweet indeed for Cuoco as of late. At work, she and costars Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki just scored big raises, to $200,000 per episode, up from $60,000 per, according to Deadline. And that number is reportedly set to increase each season, with some back-end money thrown in for good measure.

No wonder girlfriend is tweeting things like, “Flying high, I could literally touch the sky with you....”! She might just be looking in the mirror.
