Last month, the EDM-focused speakers’ series IMS Engage announced its first round of lecturers, including Moby, David Lynch, Junkie XL and Hans Zimmer. Now they’ve expanded the roster with rap and disco legends.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the MC and entertainment mogul, will join his new collaborator Guy Gerber for a discussion about their new collaborative project, 11 11.

Their new music together is surprisingly experimental house, and much closer to Gerber’s catalog then the mainstream hip-hop work Diddy is most known for (though Diddy has long been a presence on the Miami electronica club scene, and his “white parties” attract top DJ talent).

Also tapped for the event? Disco producer Giorgio Moroder and the DJ/radio host Pete Tong.

Moroder is set to play a major Hollywood Bowl show on May 10, with Chic. ft. Nile Rodgers, Tensanke, Oliver and Destructo. Moroder has enjoyed a comeback as the paterfamilias of EDM, playing HARD’s Day of the Dead and remixing Haim among many others. Tong, a new Angeleno, is a dance music fixture on the BBC and iHeartRadio, and a popular touring DJ.

Tong also recently announced a new dance music cruise featuring Calvin Harris, Steve Angello and many others. It sets sail from Miami on Nov. 6-10.

Tickets for the IMS Engage event are on sale at $320 and are limited to 350 attendees.
