The Doctor’s Finest In anticipation of a new season of the venerable science fiction series “Doctor Who,” Hannah Hart (YouTube) hosts a new series of screenings of some of its best episodes. Up first is Carey Mulligan in “Blink,” 8 p.m BBC America. “The Waters of Mars” follows at 9:15.

MythBusters In this new episode, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman investigate the ability of hit men on movies and TV to take down a target with seemingly miraculous shots. 8 p.m. Discovery

Cedar Cove In this new episode, Grace (Teryl Rothery) insists that she is fine with calling off her engagement to Cliff (Sebastian Spence), but Olivia, Bob and Peggy (Andie MacDowell, Bruce Boxleitner, Barbara Niven) aren’t buying it. 8 p.m. Hallmark

Hell on Wheels Cullen (Anson Mount) confronts the Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl) and violence erupts during a festival in Chinatown in this new episode. With Colm Meaney and Robin McLeavy. 9 p.m. AMC
