Zombie Marathon The Epix premium channel is holding a mini-marathon dedicated to the sub-genre that started with 1968’s “Night of the Living Dead” (6:15 and 11:30 p.m.). That’s followed at 8 by “Doc of the Dead,” a new documentary by filmmaker Alexandre O. Philippe. Then, at 9:30, Brad Pitt stars in 2013’s “World War Z.”

The Great Gatsby The classic F. Scott Fitzgerald story gets a typically rule-breaking revision from director Baz Luhrmann in a 2013 version with Leonardo DiCaprio as the wealthy 1920s recluse. Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke also star. 8 p.m. HBO

The Grim Sleeper Based on a true story, this new docudrama stars Dreama Walker as a Los Angeles reporter who connects the dots in dozens of unsolved murders and determines they’re the work of one killer. 8 p.m. Lifetime. The new special “Beyond the Headlines: The Real Grim Sleeper” follows at 10.
