Boy George on stage with Culture Club? China Chow dressed as a Hershey’s chocolate bar? Salma Hayek holding forth on Quentin Tarantino’s foot fetish? Those are just a few of the details from the fourth annual LACMA Art + Film Gala that took place Nov. 1 and honored artist Barbara Kruger and Tarantino. Should you need a dress for the aforementioned soon-to-be holiday season, Rent the Runway has unveiled an exclusive 5Y Collection to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the evening wear rental site. Launching today, the 25-piece capsule includes three or four pieces (think high-glamour cocktail and evening dresses and embellished accessories) from each of the following designer labels: Christian Siriano, Lela Rose, Kenneth Jay Lane, Badgley Mischka, Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa Voyage and Oscar de la Renta. Rental prices range from $20 to $450 for a four-day rental. [Rent the Runway]

The growth of the accessories business (up 9% to $13.6 billion for the 12 months ending May 2014, according to the NPD Group) “reflects the growing acceptance of men’s jewelry,” according to an article at The Business of Fashion.
