L.A.-based nonprofit Art of Elysium has created the L'Wren Scott Amber Award, according to fashion industry trade paper WWD. Named in honor of the late fashion designer Scott along with Amber, one of the first children to participate in an Art of Elysium workshop, WWD reports that the L’Wren Scott Amber Award "will be given to emerging fashion designers who in turn will donate their time to help hospitalized children." The winners will also create a capsule collection of clothing that will be sold to benefit the Elysium Collections, the group's fashion program. [WWD, subscription req'd]
