At the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards on Sunday, Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett and Lupita Nyong’o were all fashion winners. Mirren wore a sheer and ruffled gown by Jacques Azagury (and picked up the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship Award). Blanchett wore Alexander McQueen (and received the lead actress award for “Blue Jasmine.”) Nyong’o didn’t win an award at BAFTA — she was beaten out by Jennifer Lawrence for supporting actress — but she continued her red carpet sweep in a dazzling green Dior couture gown.
