Coach has tapped Stuart Vevers of Spanish fashion house Loewe and formerly of Mulberry to replace Reed Krakoff as its top design guru. Krakoff announced earlier this year he is leaving Coach to focus on his own brand. [WSJ]

Meanwhile WWD reports that Dior’s deputy general manager, Delphine Arnault, the daughter of Bernard Arnault -- chairman and chief exec of luxury conglomerate LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton, is moving to Louis Vuitton. [WWD]

Stefano Pilati, who lost his job at Yves Saint Laurent in February 2013, on Saturday showed his first menswear collection in his new stint at Ermenegildo Zegna. He seems to be livening things up a bit, in an understated way, Cathy Horyn reported in the New York Times. [NYT]
