London designer darling Simone Rocha is following her New Establishment British Fashion Award win earlier this week with a denim capsule for J Brand now available online.

Rocha is the daughter of the well-established, Dublin, Ireland-based designer John Rocha, who was until recently a mainstay on the runways in London. She launched her namesake collection at London Fashion Week in 2011, after graduating from the acclaimed fashion school Central Saint Martins.

Since then, she’s been racking up young designer awards across the globe and gaining a steady following for her darkly feminine, goofy-glam, ruffled and sparkly designs, which sell at Colette, Dover Street Market and Net-a-Porter, among other places.

Tastemakers have started to wear her clothes on the red carpet, too; model Doutzen Krous wore Rocha’s black tulle top and skirt with floral applique to the Victoria’s Secret After Party in London on Tuesday, and Alexa Chung chose Rocha’s black duchess satin dress with nude mesh straps and marabou feather trim for an event to launch her nail polish collection in Dublin, Ireland.

The 14-piece capsule collection for J Brand, $250 to $590, brings Rocha’s playful volumes and feminine flourishes to several festive styles of denim just in time for the holidays, including ruffle-trimmed jeans, flared dresses, skirts and jackets in black, pink or red, that would be fun to wear to a party.

J Brand, which is based in Los Angeles, has a history of teaming on denim capsules with up-and-coming designers, including Proenza Schouler and Christopher Kane.
