Share

Target has upped its fashion profile in recent years via a series of high-profile collaborations with designers including Missoni, Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu and Joseph Altuzarra.

Now the big-box retailer is moving into the trendy arena of fashion-focused “shoppertainment,” bringing a style competition and evening of refreshments, music, bloggers and more to Southern California for the first time on Oct. 16.

The evening will include a style competition pitting three contestants against one another in challenges they have to solve using Target’s collection of fall clothing and accessories. Scheduled to compete are blogger Erica Domesek of P.S. I Made This, blogger and television personality Yarel Ramos and wardrobe stylist Ali Levine.

It’s scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Target at 7100 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood. Guests are encouraged to RSVP on the event’s web page.
