“Project Runway’s” Tim Gunn is writing a monthly political fashion commentary column for Politico with journalist Ada Calhoun, critiquing pols from both sides of the aisle on on their style sense. Among their first subjects are Hillary Rodham Clinton, Joe Biden, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, Elizabeth Warren and Rand Paul. While many of them are taken to task for one failing or another, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker gets an A+ for having the confidence to take occasional fashion risks. “He is ready for prime time,” the commentators write. [Politico]
