When it comes to your skin, December may be the cruelest month of all (that is, unless you eschew parties, alcohol, sweets, late nights, forced-air heating — and living in a city). Here are a few products that may come in handy when you make the commitment to repair (and repent).

Plus, it contains Hungarian moor mud and orange blossom oil. $110, and in your pursuit of detox nirvana, you could pair the cleansing balm with the Refining Facial Polisher, $95, and the Deep Cleansing Mask, $120, all at www.omorovicza.com.

First Aid Beauty Detox Eye Roller: It’s the season for puffy eyes (the effects of alcohol, sugar and lack of sleep), and the eye roller contains caffeine (among other ingredients) because it constricts blood vessels “that cause dark under-eye circles,” according to First Aid Beauty. We don’t want to be known for encouraging bad behavior, but if it happens, this might be the solution to hide the initial signs that you’ve been partying. $26, at www.firstaidbeauty.com.

(Did we mention that Bursera graveolens belongs to the same family as frankincense and myrrh?) $98, at rahua.com.
