Amanda Seyfried, left, wears Givenchy to a screening of "Lovelace" in New York on Tuesday. At right, Kate Hudson in a Balmain mini-dress at the premiere Of HBO Films' "Clear History" in Hollywood on Wednesday. Both outfits are from Resort 2014 collections.
Runway styles from the Resort 2014 collections won't arrive in stores until October/November, but among the Hollywood set, the rush to wear Resort 2014 on the red carpet is in full swing.

At the premiere of HBO Films' "Clear History" in L.A. Wednesday night, Kate Hudson wore an embroidered blue denim Balmain mini-dress from Resort 2014. The look is a great example of designer Olivier Rousteing's flair for bringing a rock 'n' roll sensibility to couture-level craft.
At a screening of "Lovelace" Tuesday night in New York, Amanda Seyfried wore a Givenchy Resort 2014 dress in dark denim with sweet ruffles, by designer Riccardo Tisci. I love the construction of this dress and how the zipper angles across the skirt.
