Lily Collins wears Dior on Glamour’s ‘Next Big Thing’ cover

Lily Collins wears a Dior bustier and skirt on the cover of Glamour’s “Next Big Thing” issue, which also contains photos of 12 up-and-coming actresses, such as Christa B. Allen and Ashley Madekwe from “Revenge,” Kat Graham from “The Vampire Diaries,” and Leven Rambin from “The Hunger Games.” All 12 were photographed by Ellen von Unwerth at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. There’s a “Revenge” clothing collection in the works, based on costume designer Jill Ohanneson’s dresses for actresses Madeleine Stowe and Emily VanCamp on the ABC show. The collection is to be released for this year’s holiday season. [WWD]

Ingrid Sischy, the Vanity Fair contributing editor who landed the first interview with designer John Galliano since his fall from grace, reportedly reached out to him within days of his firing by Christian Dior in the midst of the scandal over his drunken anti-Semitic statements. She had known him for 20 years and continued to stay in contact with him until he was ready to open up. When he was ready, she spent several months working on the profile that appears in the issue that’s to hit newsstands on Thursday.
