Free ice cream made with liquid nitrogen at Creamistry

Share

Creamistry, an ice cream shop offering customizable scoops made with liquid nitrogen, is celebrating its newest location in Belmont Shore with free ice cream Monday. The store, which opens on 2nd Street, will give away free scoops from 3 to 5 p.m.

Guests will also receive 20% off regular prices all day.

The ice cream shop is known for the rapid freezing process it uses — which is where the liquid nitrogen comes in — to flash freeze its ice cream. (Instead of 30 to 45 minutes in a batch freezer.)

The store offers 50 flavors and more than 50 mix-in toppings you can customize. There are also 10 signature flavors including vanilla bean with candied bacon, cookie butter, salted caramel, chocolate hazelnut and Asian-inspired flavors such as Thai iced tea and red bean.

You can also order milkshakes and ice cream cookie sandwiches.

Creamistry has existing locations in Irvine, Cerritos and a location opening soon in Corona.
