Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades exhibition arrives in Beverly Hills

Share

Inspired by the allure of luxury travel, the Objets Nomades collection for French brand Louis Vuitton isn’t merely about high design, but fun.

That’s because the 17 pieces, innovatively designed in collaboration with a group of established and emerging designers, are created to fold, hang and multitask much like Louis Vuitton’s famed LV monogrammed travel gear.

The collection is a colorful and eclectic mix including a red lounge chair by Marcel Wanders that can be used as a chaise lounge, armchair or pouf; a swinging Cocoon chair by the Brazilian designers the Campana Brothers; and a bright blue hammock by Atelier Oi inspired by Louis Vuitton knitwear.

The collection will be on display, and for sale, for the first time in its entirety at Louis Vuitton’s Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive store though Nov. 28.
