Rodney Mullen’s latest 360-degree offering won’t be making its way to video, but rather the Multiple Listing Service. The legendary skateboarder and entrepreneur has put his scenic Ojai retreat and its panoramic views on the market for $1.449 million.

The Midcentury Modern-style home, built in 1977 and since updated, sits off the beaten track and adjacent to forestry land. Multiple patios, fruit trees, a one-stall barn and a vista-view hot tub make up the nearly two-acre hilltop setting.

The 2,216 square feet of open space has a contemporary vibe with slate flooring, built-in cabinetry and a modern fireplace that divides the unbridled floor plan. Rows of windows on the interior and exterior walls further the bright and free-flowing ambiance. In all, there are two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

The property last sold in 2003 for $740,000, records show.

Nora Davis of Coldwell Banker Property Shop and Richard Von Ernst of Partners Trust share the listing.

Mullen, 48, began skating professionally in the early 1980s and is credited as the inventor of numerous tricks including the kickflip, the 360 flip and the darkslide. He branched out to skate company ownership in the late 1980s, founding World Industries, and is a co-owner and team rider for Almost Skateboards.

More recently, Mullen has made his mark on the public speaking circuit, including the TED speaking series.
