Tobey Maguire of “Spider-Man” fame has put his house in Brentwood up for sale at $10.25 million after about a year of ownership. He purchased the plantation-style home from TV host Ricki Lake for $8.45 million.

The John Byers-designed home, built in 1949, sits behind gates on a flat three-quarter acre lot with a large covered outdoor living room and swimming pool/spa area with a flagstone surround.

Features of the rambling home include wood-beamed ceilings, skylights, French doors and four fireplaces. The 6,320 square feet of living space contains living, dining and great rooms, a den, a library/study and a sauna.
