Actor-producer Tobey Maguire has sold his home in Santa Monica for $3.325 million, roughly 11% over the asking price, the Multiple Listing Service shows.

Sited on slightly more than 8,000 square feet, the property includes a reimagined 1920s bungalow, a separate studio and a detached garage previously used as a gym.

The Spanish-style bungalow was renovated by architect Ruben Ojeda, who added a second story and expanded the living space to more than 2,400 square feet.

The house includes a formal living room, an updated kitchen, a dining area, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Large picture windows, skylights and vaulted ceilings are among the interior details.

The 1,200-square-foot studio, designed by architectural firm Koning Eizenberg, sits across the grounds and has sliding wood doors that open to a large workspace with exposed beams and polished concrete floors. Skylights and a band of windows bring natural light into the second floor.

The property came onto market in late October and was pending sale in about a week, property records show. It previously changed hands two years ago for $2.675 million.

Scott King of Compass was the listing agent.

The 41-year-old Maguire has film credits that include “The Great Gatsby” (2013) and “Seabiscuit” (2003) as well as three installments of the “Spider-Man” franchise. Last year he produced the science-fiction film “The 5th Wave.”
