Boy, 14, charged with stabbing 86-year-old Lancaster woman to death
A 14-year-old boy will be prosecuted as an adult in connection with the slaying of an 86-year-old woman, authorities said.
Tony Donnell Brown was charged Monday with one count of murder and two counts of first-degree burglary in the June 18 killing of Annie Margaret Bell, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Brown is accused of breaking into Bell’s Lancaster home and stabbing her several times, prosecutors said.
He’s scheduled to be arraigned July 23 and is being held on $1-million bail.
If convicted of all charges, Brown faces 26 years to life in state prison, prosecutors said.
