A man’s body was found Sunday morning inside a refrigerator in the backyard of a San Fernando Valley home that also housed an illegal marijuana-growing operation, police said.

Officers were called to the home in the 11100 block of Runnymede Street in the Sun Valley neighborhood. There, they found the man’s body in a black plastic garbage bag inside the refrigerator, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department.

In the home’s garage, officers found several marijuana plants illegally being grown, Lopez said.
