John Bostwick (2-0) allowed two hits and struck out four in five innings, then Drew Dowl and Kevin Hernandez each allowed one hit in one inning pitched for Moorpark (5-0). Nick Dingman hit a bases-loaded triple with two outs in the fifth inning to give the Musketeers a 6-1 lead. Kevin Yamamoto led off with a double and scored on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first inning for Rio Mesa (4-1) at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Scott Toyama had two hits and two RBIs, Aram Schotts had two hits and three RBIs, including a two-run home run, and winning pitcher Mike Zuanich had three doubles, scored three runs and had an RBI for Bishop Montgomery (3-2).
