State Supreme Court: In the Jan. 21 California section, an article about two new California Supreme Court justices included biographies and photos of the court’s seven justices. The photos of longtime Justices Kathryn Mickle Werdegar and Carol A. Corrigan were transposed.

Climate research: In the Jan. 17 Section A, an article about 2014 being the hottest year on record said that the National Climatic Data Center is a NASA facility. It is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Community colleges: In the Jan. 21 California section, an article about community colleges that received initial approval to offer four-year degrees misspelled the last name of Glendale Community College President David Viar as Vicar.

Hospital safety: In the Jan. 18 Business section, a photo caption with an article about performance data on California hospitals misspelled the last name of Dr. Robert Kolanz as Kolang.
