Women’s gymnastics: In the July 8 Sports section, an article previewing the U.S. Olympic gymnastics trials said gymnast Simone Biles had met with a Houston-based sports psychologist. Robert Andrews is a sports psychology consultant.

Northern Ireland: In the July 11 Section A, a photo caption with an article about border controls in Northern Ireland after Britain’s “Brexit” vote misstated that road signs in Northern Ireland switch to kilometers from miles. Signs in the British province are in miles and switch to kilometers across the border in Ireland.

Roscoe Brown Jr.: In the July 8 California section, a brief obituary of Tuskegee Airman Roscoe Brown Jr. reported that he was credited with being the first U.S. pilot to shoot down an advanced German military jet-powered aircraft. According to Tuskegee Airmen Inc., a foundation dedicated to preserving the history of the group, Brown was one of three Tuskegee Airmen credited with shooting down three of the German Me-262 jets in 1945, but other U.S. pilots had shot down some of the jets months earlier.

Roisin Murphy: A review in the Essential Tracks column in the July 10 Arts & Books section of Roisin Murphy’s album “Take Her Up to Monto” misidentified her primary longtime collaborator with the group Moloko. It was Mark Brydon, not Eddie Stevens. Also, Murphy is Irish, not British.
