Angela Merkel: In the Dec. 3 Section A, an article about Europe’s populist parties inaccurately identified Angela Merkel as Germany’s prime minister. She is the chancellor.

Hawaii snow: An article in Section A on Dec. 4 about snowfall on mountain peaks in Hawaii said the average height of the Rocky Mountains is 14,000 feet. It should have said that the tallest peaks in the Rockies are about 14,000 feet.
