Essential Politics: In the Jan. 21 California section, an “Essentials” item on the Essential Politics page said Gov. Jerry Brown’s State of the State address would be Wednesday. It is Thursday.

Government funding: In the Jan. 22 Section A, an article about the Women’s March in Las Vegas said Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nevada) voted against a continuing resolution to keep the government funded. Heller voted for it.

Golden Globes: In the Jan. 8 Calendar section, a list of Golden Globes winners named the winner for actor in a TV series, drama, as Freddie Highmore for “The Good Doctor.” The winner was Sterling K. Brown for “This Is Us.”
