Insurance and credit scores: In the Oct. 7 Business section, an article on insurance bundling said that poor credit can raise insurance rates more than a poor driving record. This doesn’t apply to residents of California, which is one of three states that don’t allow rates to be set based on credit scores.

Military families: In the Oct. 7 Section A, a photo caption with a story about the frustrations that military families face when moving called Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Bill Weir an officer. Weir is a noncommissioned officer.
