Election bill: In the Aug. 27 Section A, a headline on an article about a measure that would overhaul how Californians vote said the bill had gone to Gov. Jerry Brown. The bill must still pass the state Senate, which it is expected to do Monday, before being sent to Brown.

“The Intervention”: A caption Aug. 21 with an article about the new movie “The Intervention” switched the names of actors Vincent Pizza and Jason Ritter under a cast photo.

“Vera Laughed” playwright: In the Aug. 28 Arts & Books section, a listing for the theater drama “Vera Laughed” at the Skylight Theatre in Los Feliz misspelled the last name of playwright Keith Bunin as Burin. The error was discovered after the section had been printed.
