Earthquakes: 3.4 and 3.6 quakes follow larger La Habra temblor
Two shallow earthquakes were reported Friday evening one mile from La Habra soon after a larger quake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. A 3.4 temblor occurred at 9:11 p.m., and a 3.6 quake followed at 9:30 p.m., each at a depth of zero miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was one mile from Brea, three miles from Fullerton and three miles from Rowland Heights.
The larger earthquake, magnitude 5.1, occurred at 9:09 p.m. with a similar epicenter.
