1 dead, 1 wounded after shooting at Apple Valley home
A mysterious shooting in Apple Valley has left one man dead and a woman hospitalized in stable condition, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday.
Authorities rushed to a home in the 20000 block of Serrano Avenue about 10 p.m. Tuesday after residents reported hearing gunshots. When deputies arrived at the home, they found 22-year-old Ernie Sanders dead from multiple gunshot wounds and a woman wounded.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where she is recovering. Her identity has not been released and authorities have not determined a motive for the shooting.
