About 1:53 p.m., police received “numerous” calls about gunshots and two people hit at South Normandie Avenue and West 3rd Street, said Officer Sara Faden of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police set up a wide perimeter in the area and are looking for a male suspect, Faden said. A description of the alleged shooters and victims was not immediately available.
“There are no suspects in custody but we have quite a presence in and around the area,” Faden said.
