Long Beach police investigate double-fatal traffic accident

Two people were killed Thursday night in a traffic accident involving a car, a motorcycle and a pedestrian.

The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. at East Ocean Boulevard and South 9th Place, said Sgt. Megan Zabel, spokeswoman for Long Beach police.

Police would not specify which of the three parties involved were dead.

Drivers were advised to expect delays in the area as police investigate.
