SAN DIEGO -- A teenage boy was arrested Friday on suspicion of making a terrorist threat toward Mt. Carmel High School, the San Diego Police Department said.

The 15-year-old is suspected of scrawling a message on a bathroom wall about using explosives and a firearm at the school, police said.

“At this time, there is no evidence to indicate the suspect had the ability to carry out the threat or that anybody else was involved,” Lt. Keith Mayer said.
