One student and an adult were taken to a hospital after a school bus they were riding in collided with another vehicle in Reseda on Thursday morning, authorities said.

The crash occurred at 7:48 a.m. in the 7000 block of Corbin Avenue. The school bus was carrying 11 students at the time of the crash, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

When crews arrived on scene, the children were already off the school bus. Three people were evaluated for medical attention, Humphrey added.

The student and an adult attendant were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the white Mercedes-Benz station wagon that collided with the bus was uninjured, according to the Fire Department.

Humphrey said the ambulance did not use lights or sirens when transporting the patients to the hospital, indicating that their injuries were likely non-life-threatening.
